Backup My Web is based in Auckland, New Zealand and the backup CD or DVD is sent from New Zealand to you.
International Customers
The server your website is backed up to is located in the United States and this is then copied to a server in our office. Your website is then backed up onto CD or DVD and sent in a slimline DVD case, bubble wrapped inside a stiff cardboard mailer.
Please note that this is sent using the international postage system by airmail and there is no track and trace available. We can arrange for track and trace services and faster delivery, but there will be an additional cost for doing so. Please contact us for more information if you wish to do this.
New Zealand Customers
If your website is hosted within New Zealand, then it is backed up to our New Zealand based server first and then copied to our office server; this saves international bandwidth costs for you. It is then sent bubble wrapped in a plastic courier bag and sent by Courier Post.
Shipping Timeframes
Once your backup is burnt to CD or DVD it will be sent and delivery should be within the following timeframes:
